Fund Raising Ideas
Google "Fundraising High School" and you will be inundated with an innate number of ideas, plans & schemes to raise money for your school.
If you are here then it was by chance, word of mouth, or personal contact with me Not Google.
Well then here is my approach to fundraising. I have researched many of the ideas that are presented on the web. Most involve selling hard items to your relatives, friends, & family. Therein raises the question "How much more can people buy"? Not much more especially in these tough times & especially if you live in a really small market.
Now there really is no way of making money for your team other then selling something. So out of all the ideas out there I believe that there is one that stands out. DISCOUNT CARDS
What makes my idea better is that I am not a large company looking to cash in on HS fundraising but I am a small town coach that would like to help others just like me.
My area is currently Small Town Wyoming.
I would be willing to come to your Small Town contact all your local business and get them on board with this idea.
The one great thing about DISCOUNT CARDS is that the business do not have to donate anything up front.
They would in turn pledge - that when a DISCOUNT CARD is presented at the time of purchase that they honor the discount that they pledged to.
This would be a marketing cost to them to get more people in the door to buy their products.
Now the cards would consist of your logo on the front.
The back would have a list of all the business that pledged a discount.
The customer would show the card and receive the discount.
Where the fundraising comes in is that your team would sell these cards to potential/current customers for these businesses.
The typical cost of the card would be $15.00 which if they used the card more then twice would most likely saved that much in their purchases.
The card would cost your team 15% of the selling price and you would pocket the rest.
The 15% would cover my cost to print the cards and get them to you.
Take 15 kids selling 10 cards. That's $1900 + in profit.
The cards would be good for one year. So you can run the same fundraiser the next year.
Sounds Good?
Give me a call.
